Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our Caerphilly warehouse.

You will load and unload containers, move pallets between departments, and support production while meeting strict dispatch deadlines. The role requires a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence.

Shifts are 12 hours, with enhanced weekend rates and a pattern that includes weekdays and weekend work. Please ensure you can commit to the shift pattern and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in warehouse or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload containers using a Counterbalance FLT.
• Move pallets and rotate stock between departments.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including palletising for dispatch.
• Adhere to site Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Support production operations when required.

FLT Counterbalance Driver – Caerphilly

Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts, 6:00am - 6:00pm)

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday

Pay Rates

• £13.33 per hour (Basic Rate)
• £16.66 per hour (Night Shift Rate)
• £20.00 per hour on Saturdays
• £26.66 per hour on Sundays and Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload containers using a Counterbalance FLT.
• Move pallets and rotate stock between departments.
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including palletising products ready for dispatch.
• Adhere to all site Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Support production operations when required.

About You

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience working within a warehouse or production environment is essential.
• Flexible and willing to work as a Production Operator when required.
• Able to work to strict dispatch and delivery deadlines.
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
