Aqumen Business Solutions is recruiting for an FLT Driver/General Operative to join a busy plastic recycling and manufacturing site in Allerton Bywater, near Castleford. The role combines production floor tasks with warehouse duties on a rotating 3-shift pattern.

You’ll feed materials into recycling machinery, prepare plastics for processing, move stock, and operate a forklift when required, with safety as a priority. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence is required.
• Experience in warehouse or factory environments.
• Hands-on, physical role experience beneficial.

FLT Driver/General Operative - Rotating 3 Shifts

Allerton Bywater, Castleford, WF10
£13.72 per hour
Monday to Friday
Temp to Perm

3-shift rotation

You must be able to work all 3 shifts:

• 6am-2pm
• 2pm-10pm
• 10pm-6am

This is not a fixed-shift or days-only role.

Aqumen Recruitment is looking for an FLT Driver/General Operatives to join a busy plastic recycling and manufacturing site in Allerton Bywater.

This is mainly a physical shop-floor role, with around 80% production work and 20% warehouse/FLT work.

The role

You'll be:

• Feeding materials into recycling machinery
• Preparing plastic materials for processing
• Working around shredders, blenders and production equipment
• Moving and organising materials
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
• Using a forklift when required
• Keeping the work area clean and safe

We're looking for people with

• Warehouse, factory or general operative experience
• Experience in a physical, hands-on role
• Some previous forklift driving experience
• Valid FLT licence required
• A reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Ability to work all 3 rotating shifts

You need to be comfortable spending most of your shift working on the production floor, rather than driving a forklift all day.
