Job summary

Kas Metal Trading Ltd in Atherton is seeking a Warehouse & Recycling Operative to join our yard team. You will grade, sort and securely store scrap metal, working Monday to Friday in a full-time role.

You will work with suppliers and the public, operate handling equipment and FLT where trained, keep areas clean, and follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe site. Experience with scrap metal recycling is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• FLT licence (In-house or RTITB) required.
• Reliable attendance record and strong work ethics.
• Health and safety awareness essential.

Responsibilities

• Grade, sort and process Scrap Metal.
• Dealing with Merchant suppliers and public trade.
• Team Working, ensuring good communication and adhering to instructions.
• Operate handling equipment and FLT where trained.
• Maintain site housekeeping and ensure working areas are always clean and tidy.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
