Job summary

Gi Group is seeking a reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative for our busy Penistone operations in South Yorkshire. This hands-on role combines forklift work with general warehouse and yard duties within a supportive team.

You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, in a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence and prior warehouse/yard experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse and/or yard experience.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
• Move, store and organise stock within the warehouse and yard.
• Carry out general warehouse and yard duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The Role
