Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited in Rotherham is seeking a General Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with a pay rate of £15.00 per hour and ongoing, full-time work. You will safely operate a forklift, move stock, pick/pack orders, conduct stock checks, and help with general duties in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Able to undertake manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard areas.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Conducting stock checks and inventory control.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
