Job summary

Gategroup in Glasgow seeks a Flow Coordinator to oversee a designated area, manage a small team, and meet operational targets. You will coach staff, drive productivity, and ensure safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement and deputising for the Team Leader as required.

£13.80 per hour with overtime, 5 on 2 off shifts, and in-house training. Benefits include meals, uniform, parking, pension, and a supportive employee programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing small teams within a warehouse / food production / manufacturing or aviation environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Right to work in the UK and CRC checks required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall productivity within designated area against targets.
• Coach and train General Assistants to department standards; report issues to Team Leader.
• Resolve conflicts and lead staff briefings with effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and security requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and deputise for the Team Leader when needed.
• Rotate through departments and conduct quality and security checks.
