EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Flow Compliance Team has an opportunity for you to join us as a Flow Compliance Support Technician. This role covers the entire Severn Trent region, so please be aware that travel will be required.
This role can be based in STC Coventry or our Wanlip base
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and organisation of team inboxes.
You will maintain accurate and timely organisation of reports and certificates from providers, facilitating appropriate actions and next steps based on received documents.
Additionally, you will support the team in producing audit plans and trackers, ensure the Flow Compliance database is up-to-date and accurate, and enhance compliance processes and procedures.
Key accountabilities of this role will include:
• Manage Flow Compliance Team inboxes and ensure notifications are acted upon promptly and following management systems.
• Manage the flow compliance database ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
• Manage reports and certificates, ensuring details are recorded accurately and appropriately and ensuring relevant
parties informed of outcomes and actions.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of audit plans and trackers, ensuring all audit activities are documented and
tracked.
• Monitor and follow up on actions and next steps required from received documents, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to compliance processes and procedures.
• Advantageous to have knowledge of data submission processes and familiarity with Environmental Agency (EA) regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance objectives are met.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the team is informed of any updates.
• Support the team and manager with preparation for regulatory audits.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To succeed in this role, you need proficiency in databases like Access, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with experience in database management. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential.
You should be able to read, analyse, and record documents accurately.
Experience with regulatory data, familiarity with Environmental Agency (EA) requirements, and a background in the water industry are desirable. Additionally, you must prioritise conflicting deadlines and manage stakeholders effectively.
As this role involves travel a Full UK Driving License is Required.
