Job summary

GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is seeking a Flood Risk Management professional to help deliver climate resilience and support the MGSDP vision for Glasgow's residents and businesses.

The role includes designing and delivering flood risk management capital projects with blue-green infrastructure, preparing Surface Water Management Plans, and peer reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Impact Assessments submitted with planning applications. The post is 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• design and delivery of flood risk management capital projects with a focus on blue-green infrastructure
• preparation of Surface Water Management Plans including technical analysis of the outcomes to define further work streams
• peer review of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Impact Assessments submitted in support of planning applications
