Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Flood Risk Engineer to join a nationwide multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bristol. The role focuses on flood risk assessment, drainage strategy, and the detailed design of drainage schemes, with opportunities to work with clients, council officers and the design team.

The role of a Flood Risk Engineer requires:

• Knowledge surrounding Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy preparation and the detailed design of drainage schemes.
• Great communication to liaise directly with clients, council officers and design team members
• Relevant experience using InfoDrainage and/or MicroDrainage.
• A Bachelors or Master’s qualification within the field of Civil Engineering or with similar relevance
• Understanding of AUTOCAD
• Relevant planning and technical guidance knowledge, such as the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), CIRIA SuDS
• Live in or near to Bristol
• A full UK driving license
• The full right to work in the UK
