Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Flood Risk Consultant to join their Bristol team. You will deliver flood risk and drainage projects from initial assessment through technical reporting and client delivery.

The role involves preparing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, catchment assessments, surface water management, hydraulic modelling support, reviewing development proposals for flood constraints, and communicating with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Hydrology, Environmental Science or a related subject.
• Previous experience in flood risk, drainage or water consultancy.
• Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and/or drainage strategies.
• Knowledge of UK flood risk legislation, policy and guidance.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW or HEC-RAS would be beneficial.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

A growing environmental consultancy is looking for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their Bristol team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in flood risk and drainage to work across a range of development and infrastructure projects.

The Role
