Job summary

Senior Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer is sought by Catering to lead flood risk assessments and drainage design across residential and commercial developments in Bristol. You will support project management, client relationships and mentor junior engineers.

You will bring a civil engineering degree, strong experience in flood risk and drainage, and proficiency with AutoCAD, InfoDrainage and MicroDrainage. The role includes business development and delivering planning reports.

Qualifications

• A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, such as Civil Engineering.
• Strong experience in flood risk assessment and drainage design.
• Experience using InfoDrainage and/or MicroDrainage.
• Experience preparing planning application reports, including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NPPF, CIRIA SuDS Design Manual, Sewer Sector Guidance and Building Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise clients and stakeholders confidently.
• The ability to manage deadlines, budgets, project resources and client expectations.
• A creative and logical approach to solving engineering challenges.
• A full UK driving licence.

The Role

As a Senior Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering technical solutions across a variety of development projects, while supporting project management, client relationships and the development of junior team members.

About You

You will have:
