Job summary

Solutions Driven is seeking motivated individuals to support its Flood Risk and Drainage (SuDS) Team in the preparation of technical reports and the continued growth of its client base. The role has the potential to be hybrid/remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include preparing project quotations and tenders, drafting Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, analysing flood model data, producing robust reports, and planning site investigations, with opportunities to engage

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of directly relevant experience in flood risk and drainage.
• Experience with drainage modelling packages including Causeway Flow and Microdrainage.
• 1D and 2D hydrological modelling using HECRAS/Flood Modeller.

Job description

• Preparing mapping and figures to support technical submissions;
• Planning and undertaking site investigations;

Skills & Abilities

• High standard of technical report writing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
• Capability and confidence in direct client engagement
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A strong and reliable work ethic, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of directly relevant experience including the following:
• Drainage modelling packages (i.e. Causeway Flow, Microdrainage)
• 1D and 2 D Hydrological modelling using HECRAS/Flood Modeller etc.
