Qualifications

• Around two years UK experience in flood risk or drainage.
• Confident user of InfoDrainage or comparable software.
• Good understanding of SuDS, NPPF guidance and drainage standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Proactive, organised and committed to sustainable design.

Responsibilities

Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant

Location: London
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 plus benefits

I am recruiting for a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join a growing environmental consultancy in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant who wants exposure to high quality development work while building strong technical and planning skills within a supportive team.

This Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant role supports projects across property, renewable energy and aviation, delivering Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and SuDS-led solutions from feasibility through to planning and outline design. As a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will contribute to early strategy work, design integration within site masterplans and a range of planning submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
• Develop SuDS concepts and model drainage networks using InfoDrainage or similar
