Job summary

Zodiac Recruitment is seeking a Flood Risk Consultant in London. The role is based in the London office with hybrid working. You will join the Flood Risk and Drainage Team to deliver Flood Risk, Drainage and River projects for housing developers and local authorities.

Strong candidates will have a strong BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering or related fields and experience working in consultancy or local authorities on Flood Risk or drainage projects. Hybrid working for training purposes is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Flood Risk Assessments for zones 1–3.
• Proficient in Flood Risk Mapping with ArcGIS.
• Experience with Drainage Strategies for planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Consequence Assessments.
• Prepare drainage strategies for planning applications.
• Design drainage schemes using Microdrainage.
• Provide project management and mentoring within the team.

Role: FLOOD RISK CONSULTANT

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (DOE) per annum + plus benefits (Permanent)

Our client is a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and River Engineering. They are now searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their Flood Risk and Drainage Team based in London. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage and River Projects for Residential Development Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

• Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
• Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
• Flood Consequence Assessments.
• Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Drainage design using Microdrainage.
• Project Management and Mentoring.
