Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or equivalent
- Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
- Technical experience in UK flood risk legislation and planning standards
- Experience developing business cases for flood risk management schemes, aiming to secure FDGiA funding
- Knowledge of hydraulic modelling (Flood Modeller TUFLOW) or drainage modelling software (MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow) and fundamental hydraulic design principles
- Experience or understanding of project management principles for project delivery
- Experience working with public sectors like LLFA’s and/or EA
- Experience with planning applications and awareness of LLFA duties
- Experience working in client-facing environments, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Chartered Membership of relevant professional organizations
