My Client, a specialist UK-based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant to join their established Water Team based in Manchester. It is essential that applicants have a BSc and/or MSc in a relevant discipline (e.g., River Basin Dynamics, Hydrology, Geography, or Engineering) and have experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments and GIS mapping.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience using AutoCAD, Flow, or Microdrainage. This exciting role offers the opportunity to join a supportive Water Team in Manchester. Successful candidates will work on Flood Risk, Surface Water, GIS, and Drainage Projects for residential, commercial, and industrial developments for Local Authorities, Private Sector Clients, and Consultancies.

As an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for technical tasks including Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS, and drainage strategies and design with Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
