Calibre Search is seeking a Civil Engineer with flood risk and sustainable water engineering experience to join their Manchester-based team. The role covers a range of projects from early feasibility to detailed design across the UK, including river engineering, hydrology and drainage solutions.
You will work within a collaborative team, contribute to bids and business development, mentor junior colleagues, and pursue chartership with ICE/CIWEM where appropriate. Hybrid working is available.

Are you a Civil Engineer with experience in flood risk, hydraulics, hydrology or sustainable water engineering looking for your next opportunity?
We are working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy that is delivering high-impact projects across the UK, helping clients address some of the country's most complex environmental and infrastructure challenges.
As a Civil Engineer - Flood Risk, you'll join an established Flood Risk and Sustainable Water Engineering team, working on a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects.
Projects range in value from £100k to £100m, giving you the opportunity to work across a variety of schemes and project stages, from early feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and project completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to broaden their technical experience, work on meaningful projects and develop towards chartership within a supportive and collaborative team.
You will support the delivery of a wide range of flood risk, water and civil engineering projects across the UK.

Hybrid working is supported, with occasional travel required for UK-wide projects. Some flexibility around working hours may also be required depending on project needs.
