Job summary

Flexjet Europe is seeking a proactive Flight Dispatcher / Operations Controller in Farnborough to coordinate daily flight operations, ensure safety, and manage real-time decision making across the network.

The role requires strong organisation, communication, and multitasking abilities, with experience in flight planning and worldwide aviation operations. A 4 on/4 off rhythm and 12-hour shifts form part of the working pattern.

Qualifications

• Understanding of flight planning and worldwide aviation operations.
• Business Aviation experience would be advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily flight operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Prepare and validate operational flight plans, crew briefings, routing, fuel requirements, and airfield performance considerations.
• Monitor flights in real-time, proactively managing changes, delays, and operational challenges.
• Liaise with flight crews, maintenance, scheduling, and ground handling teams to ensure seamless execution of flights.
• Manage operational requirements including slots, permits, handling arrangements, and regulatory documentation.
• Respond to disruptions and emergencies, supporting the activation of ERP, flight watch, and contingency procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and operational documentation in line with compliance requirements.
• Deliver clear, timely communication to internal stakeholders and Owner Services regarding flight status and updates
