Job summary

Pure Staff Industrial are recruiting a Flexographic Printing Operative for a long-standing client in Pershore, Worcestershire. This temporary-to-permanent role sits in a busy manufacturing environment with wide web flexographic presses.

You will set up and run presses with up to 8 colours, maintain quality, optimise speeds, and work to safety standards. The role requires 3–5 years of flexographic printing experience and knowledge of lamination, slitting and mounting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum flexographic printing experience.
• Knowledge of lamination and slitting processes.
• Experience with mounting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and print high-quality designs up to 8 colours.
• Maintain quality, accuracy and productivity on wide web presses.
• Optimise press speeds to maximise uptime and minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and escalate maintenance issues where required.
• Take proactive approach to machine performance and observe processes.
• Identify root causes and rectify issues quickly and effectively.
• Report issues to Quality department that may affect output.
