Job summary

Pure Staff Industrial is seeking a Flexographic Printing Operative for our client in Pershore, Worcestershire. The role involves operating wide web flexographic presses, printing up to 8 colours on flexible substrates and paper, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The position offers a temporary-to-permanent path, 4 days per week, 06:30–18:30 or 18:30–06:30, and paid breaks. Weekly pay, free onsite parking, and access to a perks scheme after the first payment are included.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of flexographic printing experience.
• Knowledge of lamination and slitting processes.
• Experience of mounting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and print high-quality designs up to 8 colours on flexible substrates and paper.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy and productivity on wide web presses.
• Optimise press speeds to maximise uptime and minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate maintenance as needed.
• Observe processes, identify issues and take proactive action.
• Assess root causes and rectify quickly with problem-solving skills.
• Report issues to Quality to protect output during shifts.
