Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking a time-served Flexographic Printing Operator in Newcastle upon Tyne to run multi-colour presses and produce high-quality labels to customer specifications. The role is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm hours and salary 30,000–32,000 depending on experience.

You will set up, operate and maintain presses, monitor quality, fix basic issues, and work with the production team to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

Time-served Flexographic Printer/Operator with experience running multi-colour presses.
Experience with embellishments such as hot foil or cold foil is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and maintain multi-colour flexographic printing presses.
Complete print jobs to required quality standards and deadlines.
Monitor print quality, colour consistency and registration.
Carry out routine press maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
Set up presses efficiently to minimise downtime and waste.
Work with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow.
Complete production and quality documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures.
