Job summary

Flexo Printer position in Castleford is seeking an experienced operator to produce high-quality labels on multi-color UV flexo and digital presses, adhering to safety and quality standards. You will work to schedule, maintain a clean work area, troubleshoot presses, and record production data in the Shop Floor Data Capture system.

The role requires initiative and a proven track record on flexo/digital printing.

Qualifications

• Experience with flexographic or digital printing
• Competency on combination presses (flexo, gravure, offset, silkscreen or foil)
• Reel-to-reel experience
• Experience in labels/packaging printing

Responsibilities

• Run multi-colour UV flexo and/or digital presses
• Produce high-quality labels with finishes
• Keep area and equipment clean and tidy
• Troubleshoot printing press or print quality issues
• Record information on the Shop Floor Data Capture system
• Deliver work on time and to quality standards
• Aim to maximise production speed and productivity
• Follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• Carry out basic maintenance per procedures
