Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Flexographic Printer for our production team in the United Kingdom. The role involves operating and setting up flexographic presses to deliver high-quality outputs while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience operating a flexographic printing press.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving and quick production issue response.
Understanding of health and safety in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate flexographic printing presses efficiently and safely.
Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders and other materials for production.
Ensure print quality meets customer and company specifications.
Carry out colour matching and adjustments to achieve the required print standard.
Monitor the press and make adjustments as necessary.
Complete quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
Minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency.
Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the press.
Follow all health & safety procedures and production standards.
Work with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
