HR Officer and Mental Health First Aider

Established in 2002, the Reflex Group is now the largest privately owned print and packaging company in the UK having grown to over 1000 employees across 22 sites in the UK and Europe. The company prides itself on quality, efficiency, ethics, and low environmental impact whilst being innovative and dynamic. The company has an opportunity for an experienced Flexographic Printer at our site in Mansfield.

Location: Mansfield

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Mornings 6:00 – 14:00, Afternoons 14:00 – 22:00 (with a 19:15 finish on a Friday by local agreement).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and that the standards are maintained.
• Operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and set times to targets, recording and reporting when targets are not met.
• Work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime.
• Liaise with the production manager to achieve best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage while ensuring excellent quality and on time delivery.
• Support colleagues as part of a team, sharing information.
• Follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department, keeping accurate records.
• Maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient.
• Promote collaborative working within the Print Department through good communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in Flexographic printing.
• Experience with SEDEX and ETI requirements (not essential).
