Job summary

Pertemps Worcester is seeking an experienced Flexographic Printer to join our Pershore-based production team. The role involves setting up and operating wide web flexographic presses to produce high-quality packaging designs across up to eight colours on flexible substrates and paper.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with rotating day and night shifts, maintaining quality, safety and productivity standards throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of flexographic printing experience.
• Experience operating wide web flexographic presses.
• Familiar with lamination and slitting processes.
• Experience with mounting process.
• Understanding of BRC standards is advantageous.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work rotating days/nights.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating wide web flexographic printing presses.
• Printing high-quality designs of up to 8 colours.
• Working with flexible plastic substrates and paper.
• Ensuring print quality, accuracy and consistency throughout production.
• Optimising press speeds and maximising machine uptime.
• Monitoring the printing process and identifying any production issues.
• Troubleshooting faults and escalating maintenance issues where required.
• Working with solvent-based inks.
• Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of printing machinery.
• Maintaining good housekeeping around the press and production area.
• Monitoring stock levels of materials required for production.

Location: Pershore

Salary: £37,440 - £46,176 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 48 hours per week across 4 days

Shifts: Rotating days and nights - 06:30-18:30 / 18:30-06:30

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join a well-established printing and packaging business based in Pershore.

This is a permanent opportunity for someone with strong previous experience operating wide web flexographic printing presses and producing high-quality printed packaging.

The role will involve setting up and operating flexographic printing machinery, producing designs of up to 8 colours onto flexible plastic substrates and paper, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
