Job summary

Atkore in West Bromwich is seeking an experienced Flexo Setter to support the department in running Flexo machines to produce conduits to drawing, lead the team and drive continuous improvement across the department.

The role involves operating up to four Flexo machines, monitoring quality with gauges, maintaining lubrication, loading coils, and ensuring safety and documentation best practices. A strong team player with a focus on targets and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience setting Flexo machines.
• Knowledge of Flexo equipment and processes.
• Experience leading a small team and driving improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set Flexo machines to produce conduits from 10–63mm dia in galvanised or stainless steel.
• Operate multiple Flexo machines to high standards.
• Monitor quality using gauges and inspection tools.
• Maintain lubrication systems and clean work areas.
• Load coils, operate lifting equipment and wind steel strip to spec.
• Complete quality and production documentation and ensure safety.
