The position allows for flexible hours and secondments with line-manager backing. Responsibilities include stock control, cleaning, and coordination with domestic teams to maintain a safe and comfortable ward environment.

Qualifications

• Maths and English at pass level.

Responsabilités

• Welcoming new patients and visitors and helping keep the ward comfortable and safe.
• Ordering meals, serving food and running tea and coffee rounds.
• Assisting with feeding patients under nurse supervision.
• Topping up kitchen stock.
• Ensuring the kitchen area is clean.
• Liaising with cleaning and domestic teams.
• Ordering stock.
• Reporting maintenance issues.
