The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a ward housekeeper to join the ward team, reporting to the Sister/Charge Nurse or deputy. The role focuses on assisting nursing staff with non-clinical tasks, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in clinical areas, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for patients and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Provide refreshments to patients and families where appropriate.
• Support ward team by underlying tasks to enhance patient care i.e. collection of laundry, pharmacy, etc.
• Ensuring the bed space is prepared for the arrival of a new admission to the ward i.e. checking the area is clean, rubbish removed etc.
• Maintain a safe environment in conjunction with other staff
• Report any damaged equipment and required maintenance repairs to estates.
• Ensure required equipment is available for use and support ward staff in sourcing temporary required equipment if other is unavailable
• Ensure store rooms are clean and tidy and equipment/stock is appropriately stored
