Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking adaptable Teaching Assistants for flexible placements across EYFS/Primary, Secondary, and SEN environments in the Dudley area. You will tailor support to your chosen setting, with options for full-time, part-time, or daily supply shifts.

Earn between £85.00 and £110.00 per day with weekly PAYE payments. Immediate start dates are available for suitable candidates with Enhanced DBS clearance or the willingness to apply for one.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in schools, nurseries, care, sports coaching or youth work.
• Patient, proactive approach to learning and pupil development.
• Strong communication with foundational literacy and numeracy.
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• The right to work in the UK and reliable transport links across the location.

Responsibilities

• Support across primary mainstream, secondary mainstream or SEN settings as requested.
• Lead guided reading and maths groups in Primary settings.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech delays.

Responsibilities:

Because we collaborate with a variety of schools, your daily tasks will vary based on your preferred setting:

• Primary Mainstream: Provide essential classroom support, lead guided reading/maths groups, and assist with EYFS-KS2 development.
• Secondary Mainstream: Offer subject-specific classroom assistance, implement effective behaviour management strategies, and support pupils with GCSE preparation.
• SEN & Specialist Support: Deliver 1:1 or small group work tailored to pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech delays, or complex physical needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or young people (gained in schools, nurseries, care work, sports coaching, or youth work).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning and pupil development.
• Strong communication skills with good foundational literacy and numeracy.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
