Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking flexible Teaching Assistants to support pupils in local schools across the Gatwick area. Whether you are experienced, a graduate, or coming from childcare or coaching, we have long-term and day-to-day supply roles to suit your schedule.

As a TA you will assist classroom teachers, work 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy and numeracy, support students with SEN, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Immediate start dates available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach to learning support.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Right to work in the UK and reliable transport links to schools in your area.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery and effective classroom management.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to boost literacy, numeracy and confidence.
• Assist children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, or speech delays).
• Create an inclusive, safe and encouraging learning environment for all students.
