Vision for Education Ltd. is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with SEND in Blackburn: both in mainstream and alternative provision settings. Roles offer flexible day-to-day work or longer-term positions starting from September 2026 across Blackburn.

You will assist with 1:1 and small-group support, work with pupils with autism, ADHD and SEMH, and help develop social, emotional and communication skills while implementing learning plans and behaviour strategies.

Qualificações

• Experience working with children or young people in SEND or alternative provision settings.
• Understanding of autism, ADHD and SEMH.
• Patience, resilience and adaptability when supporting pupils with different needs.
• Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
• Support small groups of children with SEND.
• Work with pupils who have autism, ADHD, SEMH and other complex needs.
• Help pupils develop social, emotional and communication skills.
• Implement individual learning plans and behaviour support strategies.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
