Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a flexible Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Epping/Ongar and Essex. You will assist in 1:1 or small groups, support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management, and help maintain calm, structured, and positive classrooms.

Whether you’re available a few days a week or more, this role offers weekly pay, variety across primary, secondary and early years, and a supportive consultant to help you find the right long‑term or permanent

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people preferred.
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Willingness to work across multiple school settings.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
