Job summary

SUPPLYGO LTD in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils across local schools. You will work with teachers to help children learn, grow in confidence and make the most of the school day.

This role offers flexible hours (part-time or full-time when available) with competitive pay from £92.63 per day, inclusive of holiday pay, and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable, but not required.
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude are important.
• Patient, caring and adaptable, with confidence to settle into new classrooms.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and keep pupils engaged and on task.
• Work with individuals, small groups or whole classes.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required.
• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom resources, displays and general organisation.
• Supervise pupils at break, lunchtime and during activities, as directed.
• Follow each school's policies, including behaviour and safeguarding.
