We're looking for reliable, enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area. You'll work alongside class teachers to help children learn, grow in confidence and get the most from their school day.,
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and keep pupils engaged and on task
- Work with individuals, small groups or whole classes
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required
- Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom resources, displays and general organisation
- Supervise pupils at break, lunchtime and during activities, as directed
- Follow each school's policies, including behaviour and safeguarding
- Experience working with children, in a school or similar setting, is desirable, but we welcome applicants who are keen to start out in education
- Patient, caring and adaptable, with the confidence to settle into new classrooms quickly
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are an advantage but not essential
- Day-to-day / ad hoc: pick up work as and when you're available
- Part-time: up to 4 days per week
- Full-time: 5 days per week, where available, Competitive pay from £92.63 per day, inclusive of holiday pay
