Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Brentwood and Essex. Flexible, part-time or full-time shifts with weekly pay.

You’ll assist in primary, secondary and early years settings, help with lesson delivery and classroom management, and bring calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.

This role offers variety, the chance to gain experience across different schools, and pathways into longer-term roles in education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is ideal but not essential).
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
