Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a flexible Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Billericay and Essex. You can choose days that suit you, with work across primary, secondary, and early years settings, gaining varied experience in different schools.

You’ll support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers with lessons and classroom management, and bring calm and structure to busy classrooms. A passion for helping young people succeed is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is ideal but not essential).
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
