Job summary

GSL Education Lincoln Branch is recruiting confident Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Lincoln. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classrooms, and ensure continuity of learning during regular teacher absences.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required. Experience in secondary schools is desirable, with DBS on the update service preferred. This role offers flexible day-to-day or long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching in secondary schools is desirable.
• Ability to deliver across different subjects and Key Stages.
• Strong classroom management and positive behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across different subjects and year groups.
• Maintain a structured classroom environment during teacher absences.
• Adapt teaching approaches to varied abilities and needs.
• Encourage participation, independent thinking and positive behaviour.
• Assess work and provide feedback to staff.
• Follow school safeguarding policies and classroom expectations.
