Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver for a fixed-term 9-month contract at the Kimarnock Delivery Office. The role is 28 hours per week across 5 days (Mon–Sat) with shifts between 13:00 and 18:30.

You will be part of a team delivering and collecting mail, loading bags, and ensuring timely distribution to processing centres. A full UK manual licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, and the company offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to adapt to flexible shift patterns and a 5-day week (Mon–Sat).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail along designated routes.
• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach processing centres on time.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items as required.
