Job summary

Royal Mail invites applications for a Collection and Network Driver in Huddersfield. This fixed-term 6-month role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Sunday across 13:00–19:00. You will drive, collect, and deliver mail, assist business customers, and ensure items reach the right place on time.

We value community, reliability, and a positive, customer‑facing attitude. A full UK manual licence with up to 6 penalty points is required and flexible shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to walk long periods and work outdoors in any weather.
• Flexible shift patterns and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items on your route securely and on time.
• Sort and check mail bags; collect mail from boxes and post offices.
• Make deliveries and collections including election materials and business mail.
• Assist customers and provide courteous service during deliveries.
