Job summary

Canary Wharf Management Limited is seeking a Maintenance Operator to undertake prescribed maintenance tasks under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor or Building Services Manager. The role operates on a rotating 7am–7pm schedule with a salary of £55,886 per year plus a 3% shift allowance.

Responsibilities include fault diagnosis, routine servicing, coordination with other operators, and assisting in commissioning/decommissioning of plant and equipment, while upholding health & safety and

Qualifications

• A qualification in either an electrical or mechanical discipline is necessary, with a minimum of C&G parts 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 3 is required.
• Previous experience in a modern building services maintenance environment with basic HVAC knowledge.
• Desirable completion of Electrical Installation (BS7671:2018) IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition through an approved course.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose faults and carry out repairs, adjustments and maintenance work.
• Carry out routine servicing and adjustments of plant and machinery per the maintenance schedule.
• Work with other operators to complete tasks cost-effectively and monitor all plant systems.
• Assist in commissioning/decommissioning of plant and equipment under supervision.
• Supervise sub-contractors as appropriate and record data accurately.
