Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a casual Bank Senior Care Assistant for one of our care homes. You will supervise a team of Care Assistants, support the clinical team with medication, assessments and care plans, and deliver personalised care to residents in a warm, dignified setting.

This role offers flexible hours, with the expectation of covering shifts as needed, and opportunities for ongoing training to develop your career within our organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is needed.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Provide resident-centred care while upholding dignity and creating a welcoming environment.
