Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Senior Care Assistant for a part-time, casual role in one of its care homes. You will supervise a team of Care Assistants and support the Deputy General Manager.

You’ll bring NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, a strong understanding of clinical care for the elderly, and a warm, compassionate approach to delivering personalised care. The role offers flexible hours and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Clinical care knowledge for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted and compassionate with strong commitment to individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents’ dignity and preferences are respected in a warm, welcoming environment.
• Provide flexible bank coverage to support annual/sick leave as needed.
