Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND tutors and teachers to transform the lives of vulnerable learners. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tuition delivered in person, hybrid, or remote formats, tailored to SEMH/SEND needs.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an enhanced DBS. The position is self-employed with flexible hours and competitive pay between £28 and £35 per hour, with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, preferably with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Subjects taught include Maths, English, and/or Science.
• QTS/QTLS certification and enhanced DBS (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to SEND learners.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback to students and authorities as needed.
• Carry out duties in collaboration with local authorities and schools to support KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Maintain a trauma-informed tutoring approach to support vulnerable learners.
