Job summary

The Supply Register is actively seeking qualified Supply Teachers to support pupils across primary and secondary academies in Peterborough. Flexible positions cover full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply within Greenwood Academies Trust schools.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage diverse classrooms, support SEND pupils, and provide detailed feedback to staff on return. QTS/QTLS required with DBS checks in place or planned.

Qualifications

• QTS / QTLS: Or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching children in primary or secondary settings.
• SEND Experience: Ability to adapt lessons and support pupils with SEND.
• DBS: Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS check.
• Flexibility: An adaptable, patient, and professional approach to diverse classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging lessons across primary and secondary age groups, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Managing classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND.
• Following school policies and leaving detailed feedback for returning staff.
