Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Bristol is seeking caring SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils in local schools. The role offers flexible hours—full-time, part-time, or a few days a week—while making a real difference in learners’ lives.

You will assist pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech/language needs, with 1:1 and small-group work, and collaborate closely with teachers and SEND teams. Thrive training and safeguarding checks are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or vulnerable individuals is a plus.
• Experience in SEND or education is desirable.
• Passion for helping learners and willingness to adapt to varying needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and small group assistance.
• Help pupils regulate emotions and routines.
• Support learning through creativity and patient guidance.
• Collaborate with class teachers and SEND teams.
