Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teacher in Stafford to support KS3 and KS4 students with Autism and Learning Difficulties. The role is temporary with flexible days and an immediate start, delivering engaging lessons and offering the required support to help students thrive.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and have SEND teaching experience in a supportive school environment, with a focus on inclusion and student development.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching in a SEND environment.
• Experience supporting students with Autism/ASD and Learning Difficulties.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Patient, adaptable and caring approach.
• Commitment to supporting young people with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and adapt to individual learning needs.
• Provide targeted support for students with Autism/ASD and Learning Difficulties.
• Support KS3 and KS4 students to develop confidence and life skills.
