Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary SEND LSA in Bradford to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2. The successful candidate will work in a welcoming primary school with a strong inclusive ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND within a UK primary school.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant or Support qualification is desirable.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and/or Key Stage 2 / KS2.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions.
• Promote engagement and encourage positive outcomes for children with additional needs.

Skills

Experience supporting children with SEND within a UK primary school

Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

Confidence supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and/or Key Stage 2 / KS2

A patient, caring and proactive approach

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
