Job summary

Aspire People is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of schools in Peterborough and surrounding areas, offering flexible day-to-day work with potential long-term placements. You will support students with diverse learning needs, assist teachers with lesson delivery, and help create an inclusive, positive learning

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN in a school setting.
• Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 or 3 is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and patience with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with SEN.
• Support social, emotional, and behavioural development in the classroom.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and monitor progress.
