Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Supply Teacher for Taunton, covering both primary and secondary settings. You will deliver differentiated lessons under permanent staff, supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASC, and LDs across various schools in the Taunton area.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or QTLS and can adapt to different school environments at short notice. DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain) is required, with a focus on safeguarding and student well-being.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) is required.
• Experience with SEMH, ADHD, Autism, or Learning Disabilities.
• Flexible to work across Primary and Secondary settings at short notice.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated lessons planned by permanent staff across EYFS and KS1-4.
• Provide tailored support for SEN pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASC, and LDs.
• Use positive behaviour strategies and trauma-informed approaches to maintain safety.
• Collaborate with HLTA s, TAs, and SENCOs to implement IEPs.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and follow school policies.
