Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Supply Teacher for Taunton, covering primary and secondary settings. You will deliver differentiated lessons, support SEMH, ADHD, ASC and other learning needs, and work with school SENCOs to implement IEPs.

Roles are day-to-day supply with flexible hours, typically 08:30–15:30, and pay £130–£160 per day paid weekly via PAYE. A positive, resilient approach and DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply) are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is required (ECTs/NQTs with SEN experience welcome).
• Proven track record of working with children or young people with SEMH, ADHD, Autism, or Learning Disabilities.
• Flexible stepping into different school environments across both Primary and Secondary settings.
• Excellent communication, emotional resilience, patience, and a calm, empathetic approach under pressure.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated SEN lessons across EYFS and KS1-4.
• Provide tailored support for SEMH, ADHD, ASC and Learning Disabilities.
• Collaborate with HLTA/TAs/SENCOs to implement IEPs.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and follow school policies.
• Foster inclusive, nurturing learning environments.
